SABP (Service Area Broadcast Protocol ) is a protocol used between the Cell Broadcast Centre (CBC) and the Radio Network Controller (RNC). It fulfils the CBC - RNC communication requirements specified in 3GPP TS 23.041 and is defined over the Iu-BC – reference point.
